The blogging community is a really helpful and supportive place, which is lovely and one of the things I love about blogging. I have been thinking for some time about how bloggers with some experience could offer help to the newer bloggers. If you are part of our Live Love Blog Community Facebook page you may have noticed a post I popped up offering free short term mentoring to a newer blogger. I was genuinely touched by the response, but it did get me thinking. How could I make sure all these people got the help they needed, when I didn’t have the time myself to mentor everyone. The answer is found in my friends and fellow Live Love Blog Editors, who have kindly offered to help.
So I am announcing the Blogger Mentoring Scheme. Myself, with Hannah, Katy and the lovely Amy (from Mr & Mrs T Plus Three) are offering mentoring free of charge to bloggers who feel they could use an extra pair of eyes on their blog or some advice.
Each round will last 8 weeks and after that we will pick another four people. We will not be able to fix large technical issues, but we will be able to give our opinion on your design and layout, answer any questions and give you advise on progression towards your goals.
So if you want to sign up for this free service just fill the form in and we will get back to you when we have matched you to a mentor. We can only do four people at a time, so there maybe a wait if you are not in the first round.
